Samsung Galaxy S22 Latest News:- The release date for Samsung Galaxy S22: The Samsung Galaxy S22 is expected to launch in early 2022. Samsung has moved the Galaxy S21 release date from February to January 29. It is not clear if Samsung will be as aggressive again. If Samsung keeps to the same timeframe as Galaxy S22, then January 28 will be the last Friday of January 2022.
Samsung Galaxy S22 price: Although there are no rumors about the Galaxy S22’s price, we expect that Samsung will maintain the same prices as the Galaxy S21 range. We don’t expect prices to rise again after the company cut the price of all three models by $200.
If Samsung keeps its prices consistent, the Galaxy S22 will retail at $799, while the Galaxy S22 Plus will retail at $999, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will retail for $1,199. It will be interesting for Samsung to introduce a cheaper Galaxy S21 FE between now and the S22 launch. This is similar to last year’s Galaxy S20 FE rollout.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Leaks, Rumors: An under-display camera is the most likely change to the Galaxy S22. This would allow for a true full-screen design without the traditional punch hole at its top.
According to LetsGoDigital, Samsung has filed a patent for a punch-hole camera with a sub-display. An internal pop-up display covers a selfie camera when it isn’t in use. This design change could provide Samsung with a significant advantage, even though it is smaller than the iPhone 12.
Also, on the camera front, Samsung is reportedly testing the ability to shoot 8K video at 60 frames per second for the Galaxy S22. This is a significant improvement on the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s 24fps 8K video. Although 8K TVs are expensive, very few people own them. This upgrade would make your phone more future-proof.
Olympus and Samsung could be partnering on camera technology. According to several tweets from usually reliable sources, the two firms partner on cameras for forthcoming smartphones. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is tipped to be the first phone to get the new tech. Olympus recently stated that it intends to collaborate with other companies, so there is reason to believe that this rumor could be true.
Elsewhere, a leak from Mauri QHD on Twitter says that the Samsung Galaxy S22 will feature a thinner design than the Galaxy S21. This could lead to smaller batteries. Although longer battery life is possible with smaller batteries, there may be an alternative to a slimmer look.
According to new leakers Ice Universe and Digital Chat Station, the Galaxy S22 will have a 200MP sensor that can compete with the iPhone 13. While it remains to be confirmed, the Galaxy S22 will be capable of capturing incredible detail.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 may get a significant boost in graphics power thanks to a GPU based upon AMD’s rDNA 2 architecture. This is a great option for phones that are already on our top gaming phones list.
Samsung Galaxy S22: What Do We Want To See? We have a list of features that we would like to see Samsung include, and there is plenty of time between now & the S22’s launch.
A true full-screen design: It is not difficult to believe that this will be possible. A full-screen Galaxy S22 design with a front camera that disappears when not needed is what we would like. It would be nice to use apps in full-screen mode without needing to go into settings, as we do with certain apps and games.
A sharper display: To reduce costs, Samsung has dropped the resolution of the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Plus to quad HD from 1080p. However, it would be nice if the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s sharpest resolution was not an exclusive feature of this model.
S Pen Support for Every Galaxy S22 The Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Plus support the S Pen, but not the Galaxy S21 Ultra. If Samsung wants to add S Pen support on more devices, it would be a good idea to provide a digitizer for all three Galaxy S22 models.
Faster charging, even if the box isn’t in there, Samsung has removed the 45W charger option from the Galaxy S20 Ultra. A leak suggests that Samsung will release a 65W charger. We hope it will support the Galaxy S22 line.
The battery life is longer. Although the Galaxy S21’s battery lasts a good amount of time, it could have been better. The regular Galaxy S21 battery tested at 9 hours 53 minutes for web surfing over 5G. However, it dropped to 6:31 when adaptive display mode was turned on.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra did better than the rest, lasting 11 hours and 25 mins in 60Hz mode and 10 minutes in adaptive mode. The adaptive display of the S21 Ultra can scale down to 10Hz. This is in contrast to the 48Hz available for the S21 Plus and S21 Plus. It would be great if Samsung offered the S22 Plus and S22 Plus the same refresh rate ranges as the Ultra to its next phones.
Cooling: Reviewers and Galaxy S21 users have voiced concerns about the Galaxy S22’s inability to cool down when playing for extended periods of time or under intense workloads. It would be nice to have a better cooling system for the Galaxy S22.
Bring back microSD: Many users and fans were disappointed to hear that the microSD card slot was removed from the Galaxy S21. Although Samsung did not explain, we believe it may have to do with keeping S21 costs as low as possible. We don’t mind expanding storage in the Galaxy S22, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible. Samsung was the last to offer this feature on the flagship market.
